Tuition

Tuition is due monthly on the 1st day of each month of the session. Monthly tuition is based on the number of hours per week a dancers attends. Late fees will be charged if tuition is not paid by the 5th of the month.

Note: Tuition must be paid at the time of registration to ensure your place in class. Tuition, along with applicable fees are non-refundable.

Leveling & Auditions

Choosing the right classes for dancers can be challenging. Factors we consider before recommending any classes are dancers experience, followed by age of the dancer. Some classes require an audition or need staff permission before enrolling.

The ideal class placement will provide enough of a challenge that dancers feel they are growing and learning without deflating their self esteem. We want every dancer to leave the studio tired, but exhilarated and feel they belong to a community of other dancer lovers.

Once dancers commit to a schedule in the Fall, they are required to attend throughout the entire season. Refunds are not issued for dropping classes mid-season. Credits are issued on a case by case basis, and have been extended for injuries requiring a long recovery and in the case of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Ethical Costuming

HDC cares about dancers and the planet. On a macro level, the garment industry is a major contributor to global warming and water usage. Closer to home, costuming for HDC families is expensive and not eco-friendly.

In response to this, HDC is committing to sustainable costuming practices. The change in costuming will save families a lot of money and we are proud that it will reduce our carbon footprint! We are excited to share what changes are being made and how they will benefit our community and our planet.

Stay tuned!
